TV Mounting in Fall River, Nova Scotia

Updated: November 2026

TV mounting in Fall River costs $99 for TVs up to 43 inches, $129 for 44 to 65 inches and $179 for 66 to 85 inches with your own mount on drywall, no travel fee, same-day most days. We cover Fall River, Waverley, Wellington, Fletchers Lake, Windsor Junction, Kinloch and Lockview, 25 to 30 minutes from our base in Hammonds Plains. The two-storeys on big lots here often put the TV above a stone or tile fireplace in a great room, so the heat check and a tilt mount, +$69, is a common job.

What walls are common in Fall River homes?

Great rooms with a fireplace. The typical Fall River living room is two storeys tall with a stone or tile fireplace on the main wall and a gas insert below. We run the fireplace and read the wall at TV height with an infrared thermometer first; if the heat is within range, the TV goes on a tilt or full-motion mount above the mantel, +$69. Stone or brick as the mounting surface adds $79 for sleeve anchors into the stone body. How we mount a TV above a fireplace in Halifax and on brick and stone is written up on their own pages.

Drywall and long wire runs. Everything else on the main floor is drywall over wood studs at the standard $99 to $179 price. Outlets are rarely where the TV wants to be, so most Fall River jobs add a wire run: a paintable channel for $49, cables inside the wall for $119, or in-wall with a recessed power kit for $219 so the power cord disappears too. The hide TV wires in Halifax guide shows which one fits a fireplace wall and which fits plain drywall.

Basements and older Waverley houses. The second TV goes in the finished basement, on drywall over strapping against poured concrete; we confirm what is behind with a pilot hole, and bare concrete is +$59. The older houses in Waverley village can be plaster and lath, +$20, see plaster and lath. Second TV on the same visit is 15% off.

How soon can you come to Fall River?

Same day most days when you book before noon, evenings until 10pm, every day of the week. Fall River is 25 to 30 minutes from our base in Hammonds Plains by Highway 102 and the Fall River Road; Waverley and Wellington a few minutes more. We group Fall River with Sackville and Windsor Junction on the same run, so an afternoon or evening slot is usually the quickest. A drywall job takes 45 to 60 minutes; a fireplace with in-wall wiring 1.5 to 2 hours. 2-hour arrival window, a text when we are on the way, and $20 off if we miss the window.

Do you charge a travel fee to Fall River?

No. Fall River, Waverley, Wellington and Windsor Junction are inside Halifax Regional Municipality and get the same flat price as Halifax with no travel charge. Enfield and Elmsdale are outside HRM, and there we quote a small travel fee before you book. Also serving Sackville and Dartmouth down the 118. Text or WhatsApp the address to 782-446-6322 if you are near the line.

Questions from Fall River customers

My fireplace wall is stacked stone. Can the TV go above it?

Usually, after the heat check. The anchors go into the solid stone, not the joints, +$79, and the fireplace position adds $69. The wires on a stone wall run in a paintable channel for $49 or inside the drywall beside the surround for $119, whichever the wall allows; we tell you which when we see it.

Is a TV above a fireplace too high to watch?

It can be, which is why we recommend a tilt mount above a mantel so the screen angles down toward the sofa, and we agree the height with you before drilling.

Do you charge extra to come out to Fall River?

No. It is inside HRM, so the flat price applies and there is no travel fee. Only addresses outside HRM, such as Enfield or Elmsdale, get a quoted travel fee.

Can you connect the soundbar and the devices while you are there?

Yes. Connecting up to three devices and a basic cable tidy is included in every job, and mounting a soundbar under the TV is $49.
